Marketing Blurb is not a gamer. But if we were, we would insist upon blowing up cars with a bazooka—which—is something you can do in a new Xbox 360 game called “Saints Row.” Developed by videogame publisher THQ, “Saints Row” is a game based on the “concepts” of “Grand Theft Auto,” which everyone knows was a monster hit, and allowed 12 year old boys the chance to rape as well as pillage if they had the right cheat codes. But the real story here, is the fact that THQ is offering a downloadable demo. Do not confuse this will a common download of a computer game. This is a download which functions on butt-kicking Xbox 360 game machine. The download is available from the Xbox Live website, and more than 500,000 gamers have already download the demo (350,000 in the first week alone.) If we had an Xbox, we would certainly download this demo, and blow up a few cars. We would rape and pillage too, but we are not sure if that function is available on the demo version.
