Marketing Blurb is not watching the
Grammy Awards this weekend. (We have this pet belief that the only think worse than television shows is television show award programs.) As such, we will miss the advertising for products targeted primary to women. This is not a sexist remark, just a media demographic fact. We will also miss
what is hot with hair, fashion, and bling. Fortunately, any number of online pundits can fill us in on the highlights after the program. But have already learned from
Reuters, that consumers are increasingly depending on television (rather than fashion magazines and movies) as their attributor of fashion. For example, word has already leaked that "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria will wear the pearl-adorned bra straps in an upcoming episode and the show. As such, this might become a hot item for those desperate for fashion clues. We do not need our wife or girlfriend to dress like the stars, because they are already beautiful, and outshine the planet Pluto.
