The Associated Press that more travel companies, are packaging women-only vacation tours. While industry-statistics are vague, a travel industry pundit named Marybeth Bond estimates that at least 30 travel companies specialize in
women-only travel. A sample package from Marriott includes the Le Merigot beach hotel and spa in Santa Monica. Women vacationers receive a bottle of wine, a dinner with wine pairing, massages, and guides to nearby wineries. So who needs a guy for this—right? Other tours emphasize adventure, such as white water rafting, or cultural attractions. All generally feature comfortable hotels. So instead of waiting for that guy to shave and stop scratching himself--why not enjoy the company of other civilized women? We hope our wife and our girlfriend do not read this post.
