If you must eat breakfast at McDonald’s, you will be tempted to scarf down one of their famous McGriddles breakfast sandwiches. Depending upon which sandwich you choose, these puppies include a fluffy folded egg, tender sausage patty, and slice of American cheese on two soft, warm Griddle cakes. Forget the fact that one McGriddles will set you back 560 calories—we’re talking breakfast, right? Ah-but not so. According to USA Today, McDonald’s is seriously considering serving their popular breakfast items all day long! (Most fast food restaurants stop serving their breakfast menu items at 11 AM.) But since McDonald’s breakfast items are hot—almost 50% of their business--they are considering giving Denny’s and IHOP a run for the all day breakfast money. If McDonald’s decides to go ahead with all day breakfast service, they will need to revamp their crowded menu boards and speed up service to accommodate impatient lunch menu patrons as well. While the decision is still pending, Marketing Blurb believes the concept is certainly worth testing.
