Okay, this post is not really about bathing in Mondavi wine—or evening drinking Mondavi wine. This post is about dunking your head in Mondavi wine—almost. We learned from Media Post Publications (free registration required,) that wine maker Carlos Mandavi has decided to enter the luxury skin care market with a line of anti-aging skin care products. The new line, called Davi will include creams infused with the beneficial ingredients of wine (antioxidants from grade seed oil and fermented grape extracts.) The Davi line will be competing will a number of new eco related “green” skin products. If wine is not your style, La Prairie cream by Bikenstock includes caviar. La Mer by Estee Lauder includes sea kelp. But we are still partial to the new Davi line, which will include grape leaf, fermented wine extracts, grape, green tea, black currant oils, olive, raspberry, rosemary and soybean. (Maybe you can spread this on crackers as well.) Oh, and the Mondavi product is unisex, so guys do not need to feel self-conscious.
