You know you should eat breakfast, because your mother told you so. There is no excuse to miss breakfast, actually. Even when you’re running late, you can quickly cop a bowl of cereal. Okay, but if you’re out the door without breakfast, you could dine at Cereality, the cereal bar and café.
Cereality offers 30 different brands of cereal, a variety of healthy
and junky toppings, covered with liquids ranging from soymilk to full-fat milk. (They also offer cereal-yogurt parfaits, hot cereal, and cereal bars. The typical cereality customer is a 20-something college student near one of the café’s three locations at Arizona State University, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and the Wharton School of Business. The founders hope to franchise the concept to other cities. Two scoops of cereal, milk and a topping costs $3.99—but hey—the counter attendants wear pajamas—all day long. (We suspect it is difficult to distinguish the college patrons and the staff.)
