Real men like Marketing Blurb never need tech support, but we are nevertheless comforted by the availability of the Best Buy’s Geek Squad. We love their geeky uniforms and police-like Volkswagen Beetles. We knew all along, however, that rival Circuit City was not going to allow the Geek Squad to run a one-horse town for in-house consumer electronics trouble shooting. And as such, Circuit City finally unveiled “Firedog," their new brand for offering personal computer services, home theater installations and home electronics integration. The new in-home service will be based from 600 Circuit City stores across the country, and customers nationwide can access online support through the firedog website.
