Like most everyone,
Marketing Blurb loves Coach Leather. We do not own many of their products, but we admire them from afar for their elegance and yes, for their aroma. But despite their stellar brand reputation, Coach realized years ago they had to change with the times. As such, Coach has been adding new designs and non-leather fashion items like shoes, jewelry and eyewear to their product line. Most recently, Coach
decided to partner with Estee Lauder to creat a branded scent, and perhaps eventually a complete line of beauty products and cosmetics. (Try to forget for a moment that Estee Lauder also developed and markets fragrances for P. Diddy and Donald Trump.) By adding a fragrance to their product line, Coach is hoping those women in their 30s and 40s who sport trendy Coach briefcases will introduce their own children to the brand.
Marketing Blurb thinks these product extensions are a fine idea, and we promise not to sniff handbags (or the women carrying them) while shopping at the department store his holiday season.
