Does your dog have bad breath? If you are not sure, you're anxious, right? Go right over to fido now and ask for a kiss—just to be safe. If you detect a problem, you are a candidate for the new Kibbles ‘n Bits Brushing Bites.  This is not a dog-breath supplement, but a new brand of dog food. Parent company Del Monte is hoping to create a new category in the $ 14 billion pet food category. The brand will promote “fresh breath doggie kisses” from the “more taste, more joy” food. In additional to television support, Kibbles ‘n Bites is hitting the road with a “Mutt Mobile tour with a character named Kissin' Bandit and a kissing photo booth for pets and owners. Pix will be posted at Smoochablepooch.com, where visitors can vote for America's most smoochable pooch.”  The winner of the most smoochable pooch will appear on food bags. While you really do not need a product like this for your dog to have fresh breath, Marketing Blurb thinks it is a fine idea for Del Monte to advocate dog kisses. Dog kisses are joyful and come with fewer strings attached than human kisses. Brandweek told us about this story.
