I have agree with preceding comments: the kitchen in the commercial is "depressing" - probably because the concept behind that particular ad was a tired, old prosaic cliche too. As far as Marie Callender being 'an enormous copper vat' goes however--I beg to differ! She was a very real; whipper-snapper-smart and fun lady...who's kitchen was a blast to grow up in. Well, that's according to my husband--her grandson.

I threw away the bag of maries chicken and noodles how long do I cook the noodles .? My meal will be done in 1 hour. thank you

I understand that Marie is a brand, but after preparing and eating her crock pot meal and Banquet's equivalent, we MUCH prefer the Marie's version! It has better flavor, larger chunks of beef, and less salt. We are a convert!
