You can now chow down organic dogs or tofu dogs. An upscale restaurant in East Hampton, NY offers $ 25 hot dogs made from Wagyu beef, which are often consumed with expensive wine. Gourmet hot dog chain Franktitude is offering imported salmon hot dogs on whole-grain buns. Of course the right topping helps, and trendy condiments include Wasabi mayo, artichokes, even banana chips. Of course, even a gourmet dog is high in fat.
