The Wine Makers, the new show will feature 12 oenophiles battling for the chance to launch their own wine label. We have no idea why these 12 aspiring wine makers believe they need a reality television venue to succeed, but hey, reality TV is not our thing. In any event, the
program is expected to run on PBS (not Bravo or the Food Network) and reach about 350 stations. The show is expected to attract advertisers trying to reach upscale consumers—with offers in financial-services, computers, travel, luxury autos and so on. The target profile is household income of $ 75,000+.
