
RSS is certainly one of fastest growing communication technologies on the web. At its core, marketing is all about communication so it is certainly not surprising that marketers are getting into the RSS game.
Recently, I was pointed in the direction of CompUSA, who is starting to use RSS in a major way. The company offers 38(!) different RSS feeds for its customers segmented by product category and other criteria.
While providing 38 feeds is a strong step in the direction of customizing RSS feeds, CompUSA doesn't take it as far as one innovative start up called OfferTrax does. Offertrax potentially takes RSS down to the product level.
