Andy Beal recently wrote the post entitled "Five Secret Strategies to Add $1 Million in Revenue to your Interactive Marketing Agency in 2007." (Great headline, isn't it?)
The strategies he recommends are useful for many types of businesses so I thought I should share them:
- Stand out from the crowd
- Write articles to establish your _________ as a thought-leader
- Step-up to the microphone and be heard
- Hire a public relations firm
- Know the value of a big-brand client
To this list, I would add these thoughts:
- Focus on building competitive advantage - be different and better!
- Participate in the community/network obsessively - who you know does matter (A LOT)
- Focus and execute every day - because a lot of success is simply never dropping the ball
don't drop the ball, i like that! it's a good blogger's creed!
are we geeks, will bloggers be one day talked about like how we talk about hippies?
