
As marketers, we continually look outside the company as we try so very hard to "listen to our customers" and help the company grow.
But this external orientation often creates a blind spot to the need to market internally. Our colleagues in other areas of the company don't know everything we do and they don't think about things the same way we do. But we need them to understand and help us to achieve our goals.
I challenge you to take a little zen to work next week and look inside the company (and yourself) for your next marketing initiative.
(I'm still being inspired by Anna Farmery's manifesto. I just can't help it.)
