In a continuation of my thread of competitive advantage, I wanted to write a bit about my current favorite advantage - strong relationships.
Strong relationships are my favorite advantage because they are available to all companies from the lowest tech service business to the R&D-intensive computer chip start-up.
Plus, I love that how broad the relationship view can be. From a inbound link to your website to a distribution partnership to a salesperson's relationship with a customer, relationships are everywhere and when enough strong ones are combined they can form a decisive competitive advantage (which is ultimately how you build company value).
Are you building enough relationships of the right kinds?
Could you be networking more?
Do you need to work on your customer service?
Other ideas? Please share!
