There was another eye-popping stat from the Susquehanna report that blew me away and I'd like to share it with you. (Honestly, the whole report was filled with great information and I highly recommend that you pick up a copy.)
The stat comes from Nielsen originally. In October 2006, content sites accounted for 45% of user's time up from just 36% in the prior year.
Think about this for a moment.
36%....12 months.....45%.....12 more months....55%? 60%?
Does your marketing strategy involve the you or your stakeholders creating cotent?
If no, why not?
If you're afraid of losing control of your message, it's probably too late already.

Agreed. The more original, the more interesting and valuable, the better. Intelligent businesses make research and learning available to their constituencies.
