Measuring Marketing Engagement on RSS Feeds

flamocon.gifFeedburner released some fascinating stats about feed readership and engagement this morning. The highlights:

  • Feedburner just keeps rolling. The company now serves up 604,533 feeds on behalf of 347,000 bloggers, podcasters and commericial publishers.
  • MyYahoo!, Google, and Bloglines dominate audience engagement (clicks) for web-based aggregators with Google Reader the (quiet) 800-lb gorilla in the room.

If you're interested in seeing how your RSS readers experience your feed, you should at least be looking at it in these different platforms:
