For years an effective marketing strategy that businesses have employed to promote their service, product, or company is the implementation of promotional sponsorships. A business might pay a sports team, or a professional athlete, or a TV or radio show, or a celebrity, or anything that has a public following and influence; the business pays to have that athlete, celebrity, or the radio show host to promote its business. Think Paul Harvey, think Catherine Zeta-Jones.![]()
This same marketing model came to blogging in the last couple of years, where a business pays a blog to write a sponsored review about it, whether the review be positive, negative, or informational. And there’s a new player in the paid sponsored review game. That player is www.SponsoredReviews.com.
SponsoredReviews.com officially launched just a couple of days ago, on
- They have incorporated a bidding system which allows advertisers and bloggers to find each other through a two-way search system. Other services only let advertisers find bloggers, or vice versa.
- Their bidding system gives advertisers and bloggers the power to negotiate the price of each individual review, helping to arrive at a more equitable price.
- They have the lowest transaction fee in the industry: 35%. While most such services retain 50% of the advertiser’s payment for themselves, SponsoredReviews keeps only 35% and lets the blogger keep 65%.
- They pay the bloggers bi-weekly, whereas most services pay once a month.
SponsoredReviews.com is a new paid review service that seems very promising, offering new and different helpful and superior features that help them stand out from the paid review service crowd.

There have been several similar sites popping up lately but this one does look promising.
I like the fact that there is negotiation and the lower transaction fee.
