The Apple iPhone is scheduled to launch next month (see the great post on Engadget for more details on the Apple iPhone). The question is, will the Apple
iPhone be as successful as Apple thinks it will? Will Apple gain some valuable market share with the introduction of the iPhone? We'll find out soon enough, but I'm hesitantly optimistic. With a retail price of approximately $500, this phone better do everything it claims.
If you're not familiar with the seemingly limitless features of the Apple iPhone, watch this video to see Steve Jobs giving an informative yet confusing demonstration.
I'll reserve my opinion until the phone is in users' hands. In the meantime, I have a few concerns about the iPhone. First, I can't figure out how to use most of the functions on my basic cell phone. The iPhone may be overwhelming to many users. Second, how will the coverage be through AT&T? I was extremely disappointed in the coverage and reception when I had an AT&T cell phone, and I replaced it with Verizon Wireless. Let's hope they've boosted their coverage capabilities. Third, this is one expensive phone!
How do you think the Apple iPhone will do in the market?

Have you not used an iPod or OS X ? Apple is the best at making products that are easy to use. The iPhone was created because all of the cell phones on the market today have horrilbe OS's and clunky features. Did you not watch the keynote? The iphone controlls are very basic and straightforward.
