Harry Potter, Harry Potter and More Harry Potter

It seems like everywhere you turn some form of the Harry Potter franchise is being promoted in some way.  Not only did the fifth movie in the series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, just open at the top of the box office, but the long-awaited seventh and final book in the beloved J.K. Rowling series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, will be released on July 21st (I pre-ordered my copy).Harry%20Potter%20and%20the%20Deathly%20Hallows.jpg

The marketing and promotional opportunities surrounding the Harry Potter franchise are virtually limitless.  Product tie-ins and merchandise fill the shelves at retail stores, and back in May, I blogged about a Harry Potter theme park opening in Orlando, Florida in 2009.  There is no escaping the popularity of Harry Potter.

Check back tomorrow for more details about the marketing of Harry Potter at MarketingBlurb.  I'll be posting about the effect of Harry Potter on certain companies like Amazon.  Harry Potter truly is astounding and a force to be reckoned with.

In the meantime, read more about the Harry Potter phenomenon from the Know More Media network of business bloggers:

Hooray! It has been wonderful to read something that can completely take you away from you everyday life and into an adventure you could never have imagined. I will personally feel like I have lost a good friend when his adventure ends.

Hope there a continuation of his adventures as some people think there will be.
