Have you seen the Snickers commercial with the man playing guitar and singing a funny jingle while another man enjoys a Snickers at his desk? It's been around for about a year now, and lately I've been seeing it constantly. In fact, I can't even count the number of times I've seen this commercial. However, aside from the fact the tune is catchy, I still have no idea what this commercial means.
In case you haven't seen it, here it is:
I guess it's working in some way because I remember it and I'm talking about it. I'm still baffled by the message though. Do you know what it means? What is it telling us about the Snickers brand? Does it make you want to buy a Snickers. Honestly, I'd buy a Snickers without this commercial, so I can't say whether or not it motivates me to make a purchase. What do you think? Is this commercial effective?
i change the channel whenever this comes on. i have boycotted snickers because of this obnoxious and annoying song. "D
