Today, Know More Media and b5media announced a partnership wherein Know More Media will license the publishing technology and utilize the advertising sales network of b5media in exchange for equity, however, both Know More Media and b5media will remain separate entities. MarketingBlurb is a member of the Know More Media network of business blogs, so this is an exciting time for this blog!
Know More Media publishes business news and information through 100 business blogs that attract over 1 million unique visitors per month. B5media is an online media network with over 225 blogs on a wide variety of topics attracting over 10 million unique visitors per month.
This news means that two strong forces in the blogosphere are teaming up to extend their reach across the internet. As a blogger for both Know More Media here at MarketingBlurb and for b5media's branding blog, Brandcurve, I think this is great news. Both blog networks focus on providing timely, relevant, quality content, and I'm proud to be a part of both Know More Media and b5media.
What does this mean to readers of MarketingBlurb? Actually, not much should change on MarketingBlurb. A new "look" might be used for the blog, but otherwise the content will remain the same. I'll still be writing for MarketingBlurb and Know More Media will still be behind the scenes making sure the entire network runs smoothly and cohesively. In other words, this should be a fairly seamless transition externally except for possible layout changes. Change is good!
