Thanks to Drew McLellan for writing about a great post by Chris Bayder on A Clever Cookie called "The Best and Worst Logo Remakes of the Century." I am always intrigued by logo redesigns and rebranding campaigns, so I loved Chris's post. He shows a number of different logo redesigns (both before and after pictures) then rates them as good or bad. He also includes his own commentary on each redesign.

I think the Dairy Queen logo redesign (pictured above) is my favorite example from Chris's post of a change for the worse. On the flip side, I think my favorite example from Chris's post of a change for the better is the AT&T logo redesign (pictured below).

What do you think of these logo redesigns? Check out Chris's post about logo redesigns to see some other great before and after examples.
For more about logo redesign and rebranding campaigns from me, check out the posts in the "Logos" category on my branding blog. There are some really interesting posts about logos there including Enterprise IG/The Brand Union, Comcast, Applebee's, Toys R Us, Holiday Inn, QVC and more.
