Leap year comes once every four years, and some companies try to cash in on that extra business day with special marketing promotions. This year, Boston Market declared February 29th National Order-In Day, and the Detroit Zoo offered discounted entrance fees to anyone who visited the zoo on February 29th. The list of promotions goes on and on. Actually, I'm surprised there aren't more widespread, huge promotions devised around leap year. It seems like a great way to drive an extra day of profits to help businesses meet their financial objectives. What do you think? What are some of your favorite leap year promotions from this year or prior years?
