This week, my latest article was published on Entrepreneur.com, and I'd like to share it with MarketingBlurb readers. It's called "Make Customer Testimonials Meangingful", and it is about how to use customer testimonials effectively in marketing and advertising. ![]()
Don't waste time publishing customer testimonials until you read this article and learn the simple steps you should take to make sure those testimonials truly add value to your marketing messages. For example, did you know that anonymous customer testimonials often hold no value in the minds of customers because there is no way of knowing if they're real or made up by the advertiser?
How many times have you visited a website covered with customer testimonials by "Joe C.", "Ann S.", and so on? Do you believe these testimonials? Do they affect your purchase decision? What do you think of customer testimonials in ads and marketing pieces? Do you have any additional tips to help make them meaningful?
