Adbins are a cool advertising medium that may seem strange at first but can actually be used very well. Just take a look at this example from the anti-smoking organization QUIT. The adbin is a cigarette receptacle that drives home its message very clearly. As people throw out their used cigarettes, the graphic is created so it looks like the lungs in the x-ray graphic are filling up with those cigarettes.

This adbin was created by Saatchi & Saatchi London. The white sticker reads, "Stop smoking and stop filling your lungs with poison. To quit call ...". I found this adbin via Adland, and I have to agree with Dabitch's impression of it and say, "I'm so grossed out," again, very effective.
What do you think? This is certainly effective for QUIT. What other organizations or companies could effectively use adbins? It's fun to consider the possibilities!

I wish more smokers would be influenced to quit by this message. I've seen too many die because they didn't quit, or didn't quit soon enough.
