This cool ad comes via adgoodness. McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) is resorting to that old magician's mirror trick to lure customers in 24 hours per day. Check out the clever outdoor ad snapped at a Sydney, Australia bus stop. The ad itself contains only one-half of the infamous McDonald's logo arches and the words, "open all night" printed backwards. The reflection in the mirror forms the complete golden arches and makes the copy readable.

It's a clever use of the surroundings of an outdoor ad placement to make an ad stand out and catch people's attention. I'm curious to know what this ad looks like during the day, and I wonder if the effect is as strong.
McDonald's is known for producing clever outdoor ads (check out the McDonald's healthy menu billboard ad), and this mirror trick ad is yet another to add to the list. What do you think of this latest effort?
