Time.com today announced its list of the Top 10 Social Networking Apps for 2008. It's a complementary list to its Top 50 Websites list that was also released today. Both sites are actually very interesting because they contain a variety of websites and apps that are not mainstream.
For example, Twitter ranks at just #9 on the Time.com list of the Top 10 Social Networking Apps for 2008 despite its growth in popularity this year. Check out the complete list below:

- Universal Profile Information - which will allow users to share their profile information on various social networking sites
